Artist George Peck asked Prototope to produce a small card announcing the opening of his installation Smoke Saris III. Prototope developed a number of different concepts for the card. An initial design incorporated laser engraved raw silk used in the installation into a double-sided card, assembled from chipboard. Ultimately, a design was selected consisting of a laser cut and engraved metallic paper, with a photo of the installation mounted on the interior surface of the card.
