iPod Engraving

Client: Peabody & Co. (link)
Type: iPod Engraving
Material: Anodized Aluminum
Technique: Laser engraving

Peabody & Co. asked Prototope to engrave their logo and web address onto the backs of a collection of iPod nanos that they were using to promote their company. They wanted to use the video-capable device as a means of introducing clients to their work through a product branded with their name that they wouldn't likely forget. However, the standard laser engraving service provided by Apple doesn't allow for specific fonts and designs. Prototope was able to reproduce their exact design by laser engraving the anodized aluminum cover of the device. Anodized aluminum engraves to a beautiful white finish which matched the Apple engraved logo already on the device.
